The Chamber Musicians of Kamloops, with Strio-V present violin music from the 18th Century and modern Bluegrass music in concert performance. It will demonstrate the connections between the Country Fiddle and Bluegrass styles, and the European Baroque music. The violinist Cvetozar Vutev, his two sons Christo Vutev (Classical and acoustic guitar, harmonica, and vocals) and Ivan Vutev (piano, mandolin, violin, and vocals), known as Strio-V, will perform individually and all together solo and chamber music from the Baroque era. In the second half of the concert they will be joined by Anton Niedersteiner (string bass) for the performances of several famous Bluegrass songs and instrumental pieces. This is a free concert.
