CHAMBER MUSICIANS OF KAMLOOPS

B.A., B.A. Special Certificate (U of A).  Professional wife and mother, music teacher, locally elected school trustee (SD 74 Board Chair).  Currently teaches music privately in Cache Creek and is the musical director of 'Sage Sound Singers' a 21 voice adult community choir, and also the Cache Creek Handbell Choir.

Studied Saxophone with Fred Hemke from the (U of Chigago), Marvin Ecroth (U of Alberta), and Julia Nolan (UBC).  Has also participated in masterclasses with Eugene Rousseau.  Moved from Edmonton to Cache Creek in 1989 to marry Husband John Ranta (mayor) where together they continue to raise four children.
